Diminishment Chapter I, Part I. v0.212d public release

0.212d Update:
  • Fixed difficulty setting not affecting the QTEs properly, unless you restarted the game/loaded a new level
  • Added an additional "Hard core" difficulty mode. This one is extremely unfair, and meant for those with insane reflexes. Personally, I can't handle it at all!
  • Loading from saves from Chapter 1 onward should no longer cause the next video to get skipped, This will still happen in the prologue. This might have re-introduced the freezing issue associated with loading saved games though, so let me know if you encounter any freezing after loading a saved game (It should happen during one of the first videos to play after the load)
  • Some other minor fixes

0.212c Update:
  • Added Linux version, and 212c for the Windows version, which should fix the issue mentioned below. Since it's not a massive bug, i'll at least wait for some time, before updating the other builds, in case some other bugs appear.

Known Issues in 0.212b:

  • Auto mode toggles on/off after a "forced auto mode" portion (pink dialogue box), if you have toggled the Auto mode manually during this play session. This is doubly confusing, as the Icon does not update properly when this happens. If it bothers you, a temporary work around is, that you have to shutdown and restart the game after you change between the modes.

Hey!

Here's the latest version of Diminishment. This adds one new oral event into the game, with a new girl.

Mega Link (Windows 7 or higher, 212d)

Mega Link (Mac, 212b)

Mega Link (Android, 212b)

Mega Link (Recording)

Mega Link (Linux, 212c,
Other than the watermark, it's identical to the Patron Linux version 540p60fps

Phub (Recording, streaming, ad warning!)

Mac version is not guaranteed to work for anyone, a couple users have gotten it to work apparently, but I can't personally give any instructions, as I know nothing outside of Windows. You will need to allow content outside of the apple store at least, to get it to work.

Most bugs should be fixed at this point, but let me know if you bump into any new ones!

This event turned out a bit wordier than I expected, I hope it's not too much, but if you want to skip dialogue just press the "f" button. I'll probably end up spreading the current info dump a bit more, as I work on the chapter, but for now, I wanted to establish some things.

I'm planning some changes to the way the game handles translations, so people could add them without going through me first, so I'll hold on to the localization files for now. There's no ETA for this feature, but I'll try to get it done during November. This feature will be only released for the PC version. At least initially. I'll look at the possibility of adding it to the other versions after Part 2 is done.

The next part is currently aimed to be finished on December, but that's just an estimate obviously, as I haven't even written the scenario out yet! The next scenario will be an optional Futa event, some details for it will be voted on Patreon soon.

The total length of the game is planned to be around 10 chapters, where each chapter has about 3-5 parts, so if you're planning to hold out before the entire game is finished, you'll be waiting for quite a while! I've planned this as an ongoing project, so I'll keep working on it as long as there's enough interest.

As always, let me know what you think, and I hope you enjoy!
